Whether you are looking to confidently navigate American Bar & Grill's wine selection or decipher wine labels at The Cellar, the Club's Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 course will provide you with the knowledge to enjoy wine even more.
The eight-day course includes an in-depth introduction to wine, grape varietals, styles, winegrowing regions and food-pairing strategies.
Under the expert guidance of Kanako Ijichi, the Club's wine program manager, each session builds participants' understanding of wine and how to describe it through a combination of theory and tasting.
The curriculum concludes with a 60-minute exam on November 21. Successful candidates will receive an official WSET certificate and lapel pin.
The price of the course includes a textbook, exam fee and 45 wine samples.
