At this TAC Talk, join Jim Small—president of the of the World Baseball Classic (WBC) and senior vice president, international, of Major League Baseball—as he explains how the WBC was started, shares stories of the early days of the tournament and discusses the astonishing success it had in 2023, when Japan won their third title.
Small has led the WBC to become the world’s most prominent baseball tournament, having drawn almost 600 million viewers since its launch, and during his tenure with MLB he has grown its brand and development on a global scale. After his engaging presentation based on this wealth of experience, he will open the floor to questions from the audience.
