The class is designed for students to learn basic kickboxing techniques in a safe and enjoyable environment.
What will I learn in this class?
In this class, you’ll develop focus and perseverance through kickboxing training and learn respectful interaction skills through martial arts etiquette. By practicing, you'll learn to manage instinctual reactions like aggression and fear, enhancing your awareness of danger and improving anger management. Along the way, you’ll build confidence as you strengthen yourself. Lessons will focus on body movement techniques, basic kickboxing form practice and mitt striking practice
Note: Understand that the techniques taught (punches and kicks) are never to be used outside of practice. Students are taught that true strength is used to protect, not to dominate. This philosophy encourages them to grow confident through training while also fostering kindness toward others.
What are the benefits of this class?
This class supports essential character development for children (and parents who join the class), helping them cultivate a more positive approach toward studies, other activities and their goals. It also strengthens their communication skills with teachers and friends, which is key to building relationships.
