Young b-ballers give their court skills a boost during a four-day camp in August with local pro Michael Parker.
Through structured drills and practice games, the US-born Japanese power forward, who plays with the Gunma Crane Thunders in the B. League, will help players develop their overall game, with particular focus on passing, dribbling and shooting.
“The kids can expect to work hard and learn a lot about basketball,” he says.
Parker, who stands just over 2 meters tall, has played professionally in leagues in Austria, Ireland, the United States and Japan.
