Earth Day Festival

With Earth Day on April 22, the Club hosts a day to inspire action and ideas to protect the planet.

This community-wide event brings together schools, nonprofits, green lifestyle promoters and community groups to raise environmental awareness through their own booths and displays.

Attendees will be invited to browse each booth, ask questions and vote for their favorite

The afternoon also features a virtual panel discussion (2–3:30pm) on water and ocean conservation with Alana Bondi (pictured) of SEGO Initiative, which organizes beach cleanups, Member Timothy Neely of the ocean conservation-focused PADI AWARE Foundation and Robin Lewis, co-founder of Mymizu, a water refill app with an aim to reduce plastic bottle consumption.

The speakers will discuss their own projects and share tips on how ordinary citizens can do their bit to reduce water waste and keep our oceans, lakes and rivers clean.

Other participating organizations include Borderless Creations, Tokyo International School, Tokyo YMCA International School, Keen Footwear, Boy Scout Troop 51 and a number of Club groups.
