IWC Schaffhausen Watchmaking Classes

Try your hand at assembling a mechanical watch movement during an exclusive class with a watchmaker from Swiss luxury watch brand IWC Schaffhausen.

Thomas Zimmermann, who is based in Switzerland, will offer a fascinating insight into the world of timepiece design and engineering through two hands-on sessions for a limited number of Members.

“I look forward to sharing the complexities and beauty of mechanical watches’ movements through this unique experience,” says Zimmermann.

Founded by American watchmaking pioneer Florentine Ariosto Jones in 1868, IWC is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year and marked the occasion with the release of its Jubilee Collection of 29 limited-edition wristwatches.

“Our Jubilee Collection revisits icons from the history of IWC and unifies them through a timeless design code to form a single striking collection,” says IWC CEO Christoph Grainger-Herr.

Food and drinks will be provided at both classes.
