From fitness and health to arts and leisure, the Club’s program lineup has something for every interest, age and lifestyle.
Nina Delarco Aldrighi Caputo, a student of Club capoeira teacher Jun Ishibashi, was happy she was able continue the Brazilian martial art, which is a blend of music, dance and gymnastics, after moving to Tokyo.
Meanwhile, Sophie Leviton, a student in the Taiko Drumming for Kids class, was able to take up the traditional Japanese form of ensemble drumming under the tutelage of the Club’s distinguished instructor Moko Igarashi.
“Playing concerts is fun,” says Leviton. “But I get a little shy when I’m in the front row.”
