Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga uses postures, breathing techniques and meditation with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind.


What will I learn in this class?
Hatha is a safe and engaging way to get into yoga. Classes encourage students to focus on proper alignment and form to support their bodies for correct posture. You will develop your core strength, flexibility, balance and body awareness.

What are the benefits of this class?
Regular yoga practice can improve strength, flexibility, and balance and reduce stress.

Who will teach this class?
Marjorie Meyssignac has studied yoga since 1999. She has visited India twice to train with Iyengar yoga masters Geeta and Preshant Iyengar. She began teaching in 2004 and has experience in Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Synergy yoga as well.
