Porcelarts: Herend Teacup and Saucer

Hand-paint and decorate your own stunning porcelain set.


This advanced three-day course has participants paint and utilize decal transfers to decorate a teacup and saucer set inspired by the world-famous Herend Porcelain school and chinoiserie motif.

Each item will be baked in a kiln between classes and will be ready for pick up 10 days after the final class.

Instructor: Chikako Fukushi
Chikako Fukushi teaches Porcelarts, a program that introduces porcelain painting and decorating techniques. As a licensed instructor with the Japan Lampshade Association, she also teaches students how to make lampshades using materials from Europe. Her artistic talents were inspired by a two-year stint living in Paris.
