Mother-Son Brunch

Young gents learn the ins and outs of social manners while enjoying a post-Mother’s Day, four-course lunch with Mom.

Yuki Shimotakahara, a professional etiquette instructor and former Japan Airlines trainer, will teach boys gentlemanly deportment, including the art of escorting a lady and manners for a formal setting.

While modern social interactions are becoming more informal, Shimotakahara says there is always a need for polished social manners.

“Hopefully, the boys will learn not to be afraid of special occasions and to understand that there are appropriate times to show consideration when eating together,” she says.

This special day of mother-son bonding will also feature a flower for all moms and a photo keepsake.
