Darren Morrish

General Manager, Tokyo American Club

With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Darren Morrish brings his knowledge and expertise to Tokyo American Club as its newest general manager.

Darren has extensive experience working in Japan, South Korea, China, the Asia Pacific and his native Australia, where his first leadership role was as the general manager of a boutique hotel in the Adelaide Hills at the age of 25.

Most recently, he served as the general manager of the ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Resort in Okinawa.

During his time in South Korea, Darren was part of the joint management team of the country’s largest conferencing venue, which included a casino.

A chef by trade, with a degree in culinary arts from TAFE New South Wales, he has forged a successful career in hospitality management and is excited about taking the helm at a premier membership club.

He is an avid motorsports fan who closely follows all forms of racing in Japan and around the globe.

Darren starts in his new role on October 1.
