What will the students learn in this class?
Students learn basic yoga techniques designed to increase their energy levels and help them find physical and mental balance.

What are the benefits of this class?
By picking up proper breathing and exercise techniques, students build better posture through strengthened back muscles. Regular practice of these exercises helps stretch muscles and release tension in the body. A combination of mindfulness, meditation, breathing and physical exercise can strengthen the back and ensure the spine is aligned correctly.

Who will teach this class?
Luiz Olimpio (pictured) has been practicing yoga since 1999. He has trained in India with the nonprofit Yoga Alliance and holds regular meditation retreats in the Kanto area. He is a Harvard Medical School-certified mindfulness-based cognitive therapy teacher. Luiz holds certifications in Personal Training, Glute Specialization, and Bodybuilding, which officially qualify him to guide students in an immersive learning environment.
