Ukulele Club

Discover the joys of the instrument associated with the sunny charm of Hawaii.

What will the students learn in this class?

Children create music together while learning basic ukulele strumming techniques and simple chords.

What are the benefits of this class?
Students have fun in a relaxed setting as they explore music and chord and song structure through this four-stringed instrument. Classes also provide a chance for kids to socialize and realize the power of collaboration through music.

Who will teach this class?
Classes are taught by the experienced instructors of Minim, which has been providing music education classes for children in Tokyo since 2018. Minim has introduced the joys of the ukulele to about 1000 students in that time. Minim was founded by Singaporean Oh Xuemin (pictured), who graduated in music and education from Tokyo's Waseda University and holds a grade-eight music certification from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in London.
