Developed in 18th-century China, mahjong has become the table game of choice for millions across Asia and beyond. At this repeating series on Taiwanese mahjong, learn the basics of matching and clearing tiles as you compete against three other players.

In addition to being a casual yet addictive game, mahjong helps improve pattern recognition, concentration and memorization.

Instructor
Roma Sethi learned mahjong 12 years ago in Hong Kong. Since moving to Tokyo, she has been teaching group lessons weekly at her home for three years, helping her students progress from beginners to confident and advanced players. She has held classes at the Club for two years.
