TAC Eagles Basketball (Summer)

The program focuses on player development, building life skills and an appreciation for basketball.


What will the students learn in this class?
The program focuses on player and team development in a structured, competitive environment. Competitions include a tournament against Minato Ward teams and individual games against other local youth squads.

Drills to build teamwork and basketball fundamentals are developed based on skill levels. Coaches strive to challenge all participants while continuing to nurture their love of the game. Parents are encouraged to attend games to nurture young players’ enthusiasm and dedication.

What are the benefits of this class?
Players develop a passion for basketball and improve their skills in practices and games while learning the true meaning of teamwork and the importance of sportsmanship. Most importantly, this program instills a love of the game in a fun environment.

Who teaches the class?
Dan Weiss is a former professional basketball player with experience playing in Japan and Turkey. Vitalii Goncharenko have played and coached basketball at various levels throughout their careers. Goncharenko recently served as coach for Malaysia’s UCSI University. Guest coaches will join practices and games as their schedules allow.
