Budo: Martial Arts Experience

Learn how to creep like a ninja assassin and wrestle with sumo giants at an interactive afternoon of Japanese martial arts.

In partnership with the Japan Sports Agency, this free cultural event will give Members a chance to master some martial art moves, try on uniforms and unleash their inner Karate Kid by breaking boards during an itawari challenge.

Round up the family for a fun holiday afternoon at the Club.

Schedule

• 1–1:15pm: Japan Sports Agency welcome speech
• 1:15–1:45pm: Sumo Demonstration with Sumo Experience
• 2–2:30pm: Ninja Experience with Musashi Ninja Clan
• 2:45–3:15pm: Itawari Challenge with Yokohama Budokan
• 3:30–4pm: Karate Fitness with Emiri Iwamoto
