Mount Nokogiri Tour

Escape to Mount Nokogiri in Chiba for a day of breathtaking vistas and historical sites.

Start with a ferry ride from Kurihama to Kanaya, then take a four-minute ropeway ride to the summit.

You’ll then break off to enjoy lunch with a magnificent view before heading to see Jigoku Nozoki, also known as Hell Peek Point, and the Hyaku-shaku Kannon, a 30-meter-tall carving of the Buddhist goddess of mercy.

End your day with a visit to Nihon-ji Temple, where you can walk among more than 1,500 statues of Buddhist disciples and see Japan’s tallest stone Buddha statue.
