Pick up the lifesaving skills and confidence to deal with a range of medical emergencies at a one-day course at the Club.
Learn how to recognize and deal with heart attacks, strokes and people in respiratory or cardiac distress using such skills as CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (automated external defibrillation).
This hands-on training program, designed by the US-based aquatic organization Ellis & Associates, is based on the guidelines of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and the American Heart Association.
Taught by Sky Pool manager Haldane Henry, the curriculum covers CPR and AED for adults, children and infants.
Successful participants will receive an internationally recognized certificate valid for two years.
