Kids' Yoga (Winter-Spring)

Kids are introduced to yoga through a combination of exercise and relaxation.


What will I learn in this class?

Children learn the basics of yoga, including postures, breathing techniques and methods to calm one self and improve focus and concentration.

What are the benefits of this class?
Yoga helps improve both physical and mental capacities for all ages. Specifically, yoga techniques improve flexibility, refine balance and coordination, develop focus and concentration and boost self-esteem and confidence.

Who will teach this class?
Mai Okumura has taught yoga to international and native students in Tokyo since 2003. She completed the yoga ashram of Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre and is a certified a yoga teacher. In addition to studying eastern medicine, she perfected different yoga techniques at multiple yoga centers.Okumura has combined her years of experience and study to develop her own yoga style and program that is a combination of exercise and relaxation.

  • TAC yoga mats can be used for free during class but students are able to bring their own mats if they own one.
