Naoshima: Island of Art

Adrift in the Seto Inland Sea, Naoshima Island offers an experience unlike any other in Japan.


Constructed over decades by world-renowned avant-garde artists like Tadao Ando, Yayoi Kusama, Lee Ufan and more, Naoshima is an island devoted entirely to art and its myriad expressions.

Soak in the dozens of museums and outdoor installations up close on this three-day Women’s Group tour.

Travel by bullet train to Okayama and visit Korakuen, one of Japan’s three most famous gardens.

Continue on the next day via ferry to Naoshima Island and stay at Benesse House, a resort hotel and modern art gallery melded together.

Fee includes transportation (train and ferry), room and board (two breakfasts, one lunch and two dinners).

All rooms are double occupancy; solo Members will be paired.

Registration

Only Women's Group members can register during the first week. Non-Women's Group members and guests must register after the specified date. Non-Women's Group members and guests who apply in the first week may receive confirmation, but they will not be registered.
