Mizubasho Sake Tasting

Noriyoshi Nagai, owner of Gunma sake brewery Nagai Shuzo, introduces Members to his acclaimed Mizubasho sake brand at a tasting.


The 132-year-old brewery launched its signature brand in 1992, and Mizubasho is now served in such Michelin-starred restaurants as El Bulli and New York City's Daniel.


In an interview in October's INTOUCH magazine, Nagai (pictured) explains how his sake is crafted for pairing with cuisine.


That's something Members can experience firsthand at this tasting, which will feature Mizubasho Pure, a mildly sweet sparkling sake, and a full-bodied dessert sake.
