To her surprise, the vineyard manager offered the horticulture grad a job.
In 2013, after 12 years making wine in the Hunter Valley, she moved to Yarra Yering, one of the oldest vineyards in Victoria’s Yarra Valley.
She had an immediate impact.
Named Australia’s winemaker of the year in 2017, Crowe’s 2014 vintage featured two remarkable 99-point reds and four 98-pointers.
