Eight countries. Twelve teams. Twenty-four whiskies. But just one winner.
At this celebration of the distilled liquor, competing whiskies from Ireland, Scotland (three teams), England, Japan (two teams), the United States (two teams), Canada, Taiwan and Australia will be divided into four pools.
Participants will be allocated pools of six whiskies to judge and the winners will progress to the semifinals and then the final.
Hosted by the Wine & Beverage Committee’s Bill Farrell, the competition’s rounds will take place over three courses of canapés—fish, beef and cheese.
Throughout the tournament, participants will be able to taste the “stars” of the teams from across the world (as well as beer and wine from the bar if they choose to switch libation).
At the end of the evening, one whiskey will be crowned Club champ.
