In the world of mobile devices, this can be easier said than done.
“We are presenting in the age of distraction,” says Club Member Story. “Your opening is competing with the mobile phone and an escape route to the Internet. If you don’t have the audience’s interest in the first few seconds, you’ve lost them.”
