Japanese Garden Walk: Mitake Stone Garden

A stroll through art in various forms.

What will I learn in this class?
Explore the paintings of Kawai Gyokudo and a stone garden designed by landscape architect Ken Nakajima at the Gyokudo Museum in the beautiful Mitake Valley. The tour will continue with a stroll along a riverside trail to the 300-year-old Ozawa Sake Brewery.

Who teaches this class?
Kazuko Morio is a member of the Garden Society of Japan and a licensed national guide-interpreter. She lectures and provides walking tours to Japanese gardens. Her clients include garden enthusiasts, international students and tour guides.
