Celebrate the season among friends at Connections’ annual festive luncheon.
The event’s guest of honor is acclaimed fashion designer Zarny Shibuya (pictured).
The Myanmar-born former model will share his inspiring story from arriving in Japan as the child of political refugee parents to founding the Zarny brand of haute couture and cosmetics and designing for royalty and high society.
In keeping with the holiday spirit, the event will also be an opportunity to recognize the recipients of two seasonal drives—Be an Angel, in support of Salvation Army children’s homes, and the Second Harvest Japan Food Drive, which concludes on December 2.
The luncheon will also include dazzling prizes of Zarny cosmetics and Riedel glassware.
As a turbulent 2020 draws to a close, usher in the holidays with uplifting tales of goodwill and success.
