Escape to the plains and fiesta-filled streets of Spain—at least for an evening—at an epicurean celebration of the Iberian nation.
At this first wine tasting of the season, sample six indigenous varietals that promise to showcase the winemaking diversity of the world’s third-largest wine producer.
Savor the fruits of Galicia’s Rías Baixas region, home to the white Albariño grape, the Ribera del Duero plateau, where Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) is king, as well as Catalonia (sparkling cava) and Rueda for a Verdejo white wine.
And no fiesta would be complete without tapas. The evening’s mouthwatering selection of Spanish appetizers includes gazpacho shooters, steak pinchos, paella, eggplant tortillas and mussels with tomato sofrito.
The event will include a family area in the Brooklyn Rooms for children accompanied by an adult. Kids will be able to enjoy a movie and drawing materials, with food available for ordering from Rainbow Café.
