Gallery Reception: Houey Hong Center

Founded in 1998, the Houey Hong Centre trains students to weave centuries of Lao history into each of its pieces.

From skirts and shawls to full-length tapestries, traditional Lao weaving incorporates intricate designs into each of its hand-woven works from manual looms.

Examine each warp and weft at this reception supporting the Vientiane-based workshops mission of training women in valuable and marketable skills.
