Kimono 101

Dive into the wonderful world of kimono.

Learn the differences in function and form between kimono styles such as the light-weight yukata worn at festivals and the casual komon and its accouterments.

Students are welcome to bring their own kimono. For an additional fee, students can rent kimono to wear during class while practicing traditional mannerisms and movements associated with the fashion.

Photos will be taken to commemorate the experience.
