Japanese Garden Walks: Kita Kamakura Zen Gardens

Marvel at the scenery of three stunning Zen temples in Kita Kamakura.

The tour includes visits to Engakuji, one of the country's leading Zen temples, Meigetsuin, famous for its window that frames a garden view, Jochiji, surrounded in the forest, and a Japanese restaurant for an authentic Zen vegetarian lunch.

Instructor: Kazuko Morio
Growing up in a house with a Japanese garden where her grandmother taught tea ceremony, Kazuko enjoyed tending to the garden every day. She later developed her interest in gardens through study and her work as a certified national guide-interpreter.
